Island Lumina / Nagasaki
2019-03-22A multimedia night walk in search of an enchanted jewel.
Located on Iojima Island, and created by a Canadian company (Moment Factory), this one-hour adventure takes place through a gentle-sloping forest path filled with magical lights, motion pictures, and digital art using state-of-the-art technologies. Glow-in-the-dark face paint is also available prior to entering the enchanted forest.
Island Lumina can easily be accessed via Island Lumina Private Bus (free) from Shimakaze no Yu (hot spring facility) on Iojima Island. For access to Iojima Island, there are free shuttle buses that run between Nagasaki Station and Shimakaze no Yu, but reservation in advance is required. For more details on access information and shuttle bus timetables, please refer to Island Lumina's official webpage.
Island Lumina transports visitors on a quest in search of an enchanted jewel, said to be stolen from the sky by a dragon. This interactive adventure follws a young girl named Yura through a mysterious underwater world that glimmers with magic. Along their journey, visitors are invited to participate in the story by helping Yura to find the gemstone and face off against the dragon in an epic final battle to restore the balance between darkness and light.
